Of all the parks my favorite sits diagonally from Independence Hall
yet it’s quiet
never many tourists
not like it’s flashier friend down Locust
Here there’s a fountain, sometimes on
a flippantly Philly pigeon flock
& benches far enough apart you just might hear the ground start speaking
